2024 Registration Opens in May 29th
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You (a home pizza-maker/hobbyist) sign up to host a pizza party or pop-up to raise funds for our Pie it Forward project. We’ll use the funds that you raise to send pizza to shelters and soup kitchens across the US.
HOW DOES THE FUNDRAISING WORK?
When you host your pizza party or pop-up, we’ll email you a QR code to display at the event. This QR code will go to a crowdfunding page that’s linked to your pizza party. Your guests can submit a donation in the size of their choice or you can opt to donate a portion of the proceeds that you make at your pop-up using the same QR code.
WHEN IS IT RUNNING?
You can host a pizza party or pop-up anytime between July 1 - September 30.
DO I HAVE TO BE IN A PARTICULAR LOCATION TO HOST A PIZZA PARTY?
No way! You can do #pizza4good anywhere across the US. Stay tuned; we’ll be posting a map of all of the communities that have home pizza-makers participating.
IS THERE A WAY FOR BRICK & MORTAR RESTAURANTS TO GET INVOLVED?
You can chat with any home pizza-makers in your your neighborhood about the project and offer them the opportunity to host a pop-up out of your restaurant that will benefit Slice Out Hunger. It’s a fantastic way for you to support pizzaioli of all stripes in your community.

Most Dough
The individual pizzaioli who raises the most at their pizza party will have the chance to do a one-on-one pizza consultation with a World Pizza Champion via Zoom. You may select from:
Laura Meyer, Pizzeria da Laura
Tony Gemignani, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, Slice House, Capo’s, Pizza Rock
John Arena, Metro Pizza
The individual pizzaioli who has the highest engagement on a post about Summer Slice-a-Thon will receive a 3 volume set of Modernist Pizza. To be eligible, you must:
Host your pizza party
Engagement will be calculated based on the combined number of likes & comments on a post

Most Pizzagram-Worthy
The individual pizzaioli who hosts the biggest Summer Slice-a-Thon party will receive a backyard Ooni Karu 12. To be eligible, you must:
Host your pizza party
Have party guests donate through the QR code/donation link provided
Biggest bash will be calculated based on the most individual donors at the party
